V., Innogy Foundation and Dynamis a regional network of actors working in cooperation with national and European partners for a sustainable regional energy system. Fake star is a project that uses wind energy to create light in the sky after the sundown. The project consists in a flying kite supported by propeller fan. A LED is attached to the kite and two more rotors are generating power to control and drive it. This project offers a poetic way to show how we could change our life quality and follow a lifestyle in harmony with nature. By creating a fake star using natural resources Julius Von Bismarck, Benjamin Maus, Richard Wilhelmer are questioning our understanding of our universe and its elements. Fake Star reveals that our needs in energy are already provided by our planet and we have still the opportunity to think how we can and want to use it.
